Karachi, June 3, 2024 – The Quality Enhancement Cell of Greenwich University successfully organized an International Symposium on the "Importance of Internationalization and Sustainability in Quality Assurance" on Monday, June 3, 2024.

The event featured distinguished international speakers, including Prof. Dr. Marc Serge Riviere, a seasoned academician and book writer (Australia); Mr. Nazir Ahmad Khodabux, Former Commissioner of Education (Mauritius); Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahid Usmani, Director of Quality Assurance and Sustainability at Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU); Mr. Ali Jilani, Vice Chair of Karachi Research Chair (KRC); and Dr. Rab Nawaz, Director of Quality Assurance (QEC) at Greenwich University.

The symposium aimed to foster global perspectives, promote collaboration, innovate quality assurance, and focus on sustainability.

A significant highlight of the symposium was the recognition of Greenwich University’s achievement in the Times Impact Ranking for SDG 8 in 2023, where the university ranked 1st in Pakistan and 61st globally.

The success of the symposium underscores Greenwich University's commitment to fostering dialogue and collaboration on pressing issues facing higher education today. The university remains dedicated to advancing quality assurance practices that are not only internationally recognized but also sustainable and inclusive.
